On April 16, 2018 solemn events dedicated to the 120th anniversary of one of the country's oldest machine-building enterprises - the “Elektrosila” plant, part of the “Power Machines” company.
The chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee on Industrial Policy and Innovations Maxim Meiksin took part in the plant’s award ceremony giving workers certificates of honor and gratitude. He conveyed congratulations to the enterprise's staff on behalf of St. Petersburg's Governor, Georgy Poltavchenko. "Your plant is the pride of the whole country's heavy industry. Today, as a part of the concern "Power Machines" the company is successfully implementing new technology, developing and manufacturing unique equipment. I am certain that "Elektrosila" will continue to maintain its leading position in the industry and increase labor glory of St. Petersburg" –was specifically mentioned in the congratulatory address.
The first deputy head of the administration of the Moscow region Boris Epelman, the general director of PJSC "Power Machines" the heads and employees of the Elektrosila plant took part in the celebrations as well.
During the ceremony more than 70 "Elektrosila" employees were awarded diplomas, certificates of gratitude by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg Government, the Municipal Committee for Industrial Policy and Innovations, the Administration of the Moscow District, JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom", JSC "RusHydro" industry awards as well as PJSC "Power Machines" corporate awards.
