Experts from the State Russian Museum proceeded with the implementation of the innovative education-and-exhibition project “Living Planet in Colors and Digits” in Petrozavodsk with the assistance of the companies Severstal and Power machines, which are members of SeverGroup.
The project events will be held on September 25-27 at the Museum of Fine Arts of the Karelian Republic. The project is aimed at artistic education and creative development of children and teenagers in north-western regions of Russia. Leading museum experts, teachers of educational institutions, senior pupils and students of Petrozavodsk will take part in the project.
The event program includes lecturers, reports, workshops, consultations and the round table, as well as didactic exhibition “Light and Color in Fine Arts”. The classes are given by the experts of the Russian Center of Museum Pedagogics and Children’s Creativity of the Russian Museum under the guidance of the Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences, professor, laureate of the state prize of Russia, honored cultural worker of Russia, member of the Artists' Union of Russia Boris Stolyarov.
“The company Severstal and Russian Museum are tied by longstanding partnership, including in the regions where the company operates,” said Maxim Vorobiev, the director of Karelsky Okatysh and Olkon, at the opening ceremony. “Two years ago the project 'How Beautiful This World Is', which was held in Kostomuksha, left the brightest impressions. We will be pleased to continue this cooperation and support the opportunity of exploration of new branches of art by the citizens of Karelia, especially children.”
During the academic year the project developers from the Russian Museum in Saint-Petersburg and citizens of Petrozavodsk will communicate with the help of an electronic educational portal “Hello, Museum!”. This will provide a free access to the electronic base of educational and methodological materials regarding the national fine arts.
The project “Living Planet in Colors and Digits” was held in March 2018 in Cherepovets with the assistance of Severstal.
