On December 22, 2017 Power Machines celebrated the anniversary of one of the country's oldest machine-building enterprises: Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod, a member of our holding company since 2000. The festivities were attended by Saint Petersburg’s Governor - G.S. Poltavchenko, the Chairman of the Committee for Industrial Policy and Innovations - M.S. Meiksin, the First Deputy of the Head of Administration of the Kalininsky District of Saint Petersburg - S.P.Timofeev, as well as other officials and PJSC Power Machines executives.
The program started with a visit to the LMZ turbine facility, which manufactures powerful equipment for nuclear, thermal and hydraulic power plants in Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan.
The event continued with the awarding of Certificates of Honor from the Governments of Russia and Saint Petersburg, to the executives of Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod and Power Machines, for their major contribution to the development of Russian power engineering.

Virtually all our power plants and the city's defense industry operate using the items produced here," said Saint Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko. "It is very important that at present your enterprise introduces unique, state-of-the-art equipment, which is efficient, reliable and environmentally friendly.

It has a profound respect for labor and competency, responsibility, and the professional involvement of many generations of machine builders", said Yuri Petrenya, the General Director of PJSC Power Machines.
