Power Machines - Toshiba High-Voltage Transformers LLC (PMTT) manufactured, delivered and installed two transformers intended for the new Nevskaya Guba substation in Saint Petersburg.
The contract for the manufacture and delivery of the transformers, each with a capacity of 63 MVA and a voltage of 110 kV, was signed with PJSC Lenenergo in May 2017.
The signing of the contract was preceded by a tender, which was won by the Russian-Japanese joint venture of Power Machines and Toshiba concerns, who made the best technical and commercial proposal.
The assessment of the condition of the transformers after their connection to the electrical network under load has shown that the equipment can be operated without any problems.
As a result of having been put into operation,
the substation will provide electric energy to the Lakhta Center
multi-functional complex in the Primorsky District of Saint Petersburg.
